Our society is drawn to and quickly celebrates winners. We support our favorite teams, athletes and celebrities by wearing their merchandise, attending their events, following their lifestyles and repeating the things they say. We feel some type of connection to them and often consider them to be our real life heroes.
Well, we know Jesus as our real life hero. We’ve accepted Jesus as our Savior, our Lord, our leader and our champion. We’ve committed our entire lives to faithfully follow Him. We celebrate and represent Him by saying and also doing what He says. Jesus conquered the greatest opposition known to mankind, sin. He defeated the greatest adversary of our soul, Satan. He removed the greatest fear, death; and replaced it with the greatest gift, eternal life.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:4-5

Our Assignment is to help those that are lost, spiritually hungry, humble and honorable. Also to effectively minister to those wounded by religion, leadership or relationships in church, but desire to be healed and made whole.
